Peacock toy and Lamaze link clip.

Interesting toy for baby
What I think is really great is that the peacock has very large eyes. Research shows that babies like faces and eyes and I heard that Lamaze increased the size of the eyes on their toys. I like Lamaze toys.
This peacock is brightly coloured on the front, black and white in different patterns on the back and each 'feather' has a different texture such as silky, furry or courderoy. It makes a crinkly, crunchy sound when you touch it which is interesting to my baby. It has a squeaky button too which will be better when my baby is older.
A couple of weeks ago I started holding up the peacock in front of my baby and describing the colours and textures to him (as talking and describing is good for babies) and I can spend almost 5min talking about this toy as there is so much variety! Now he can hold it himself and bring it to his mouth.
I am online now writing this review as I am about to buy one for my friend's baby.

Given as a gift for a newborn...
I got this for my new niece, and my sister (her mom) said it's her favorite toy. My sister liked the softness and the colors. She said it's a great texture toy and was very happy I got it for her baby. I think it's too cute, too. :)

Great First Toy!
Our son loved this toy almost from day one. The geometric black and white backing to the wings is perfect for newborns. The bright colors and different textures make it a lasting favorite. It held up well to daily play. It remained a favorite for 5 months or so--that's saying a lot. Now that he's a bit older more intricate toys are more enticing, but he still has a soft spot for this one. We've also given this as a baby gift several times. Great little creature.

Wonderful!
This is the best toy I've purchased for my son. He absolutely loves it, even better, it isn't expensive. My sister is going to have her first baby in a couple months and I plan on getting one for her too.

What a winner!
This is my 6 month old's new favorite toy. He likes the crinkly noise and the many colors.

Disappointingly bland
My initial impression of this new customized edition of the venerable Monopoly game -- theme du jour, the Beatles -- is less than fab. Compared to other special Monopoly editions, this one seems slap-dash and unimaginative, with fewer in-jokes and wit. I'm afraid Apple took the easy way and treated this as nothing so much as a slick promo for the Beatles' back catalog -- the game components seem drawn mainly from album covers, the same old pictures and titles we've known for all these years. There's not much sparkle in this pedestrian presentation, it's not at all the romp I was expecting from the first official Beatles boardgame in over 40 years. Hmmph. All those visuals and lyrics and imagery and creativity to draw from, and this dull product was the best (or least controversial) treatment they could do? I used to work as a game designer in the hobby game industry -- I'd design a better Beatles Monopoly game than this in two weeks and charge nothing, just to see this project done properly. Call me, Hasbro! I do like the Rocky Raccoon token, however.

Great water toy, way better than I expected
After reading many reviews about how the slip n slides rip, I was plesantly surprised when a 10 year old and 3 year old played all day with no problems. We even had 8-10 adults standing on the slide to cool off our feet. I would buy and recomend again! Water pressure was good, pool and slides are very decent size. I gave it to the 3 year old to take home after the all day party. I'll update this post again when it finally brakes so people can see how long it takes.

Fun, but not very durable
We ordered this for my 5 and 3 year old children. The children love it and have played on it constantly since we got it. Unfortunately, it arrived with a small tear between the small "pool" at the end and the slide part of it. As the kids had been eagerly waiting for the slide, we didn't send it back, but it was annoying. I also already see where some other tears are going to start soon. This slide does not come with the inflatable boogie boards (I think there is a newer version that does) and we've bought those separately because they really add to the kids' enjoyment. Perhaps our grass is simply not "thatchy" enough to give a soft surface under the slide. Despite its faults, the kids really enjoy it, either sliding on it or playing in the small pool at the end.

Plenty to Do, Lots to Learn
With all of these activities, your child will exercise his or her memory and problem-solving skills with lots of things to push, pull, turn, open, and close. And with the flip of a switch, the songs and games switch from English to Spanish, offering a great introduction to foreign-language learning. The Learn & Groove Musical Table requires some assembly and needs 3 AA batteries for operation. Batteries are not included.

Excellent Toy!
I received this toy as a hand-me-down from my sister. Her son and daughter both played with it. I decided to show it to my 11-month old, and she loves it! We have several of the "learning" tables, but she instantly fell in love with this one because of the music and lights. Her favorite part is the book with the page that flips; she will sit there for 10-15 minutes just flipping the page back and forth. As I said, it was a hand-me-down and was originally purchased 5 years ago. It has withstood the test of time, because it still works perfectly and is in exceptional condition. This really is a great toy and I would recommend it above all other toy tables.

Worth every penny!
We got this not even a whole month ago and my six month old daughter thinks it is wonderful! She can do so much on it already and it is fun to watch her learn to do more with it every day. I hold her up to it and she just goes to town! I like the fact that it goes back and forth from music to colors and other words. Plus the spanish is fun to hear as well. I think it encourages her to stand up, too. I actually end up with tired arms because she wants to play for a while! She squeals and screams which lets me know she's really enjoying it. I would say it was so worth the money we paid for it.

Amazing
My 10m old boy loves this thing. he gets to play with it at grandmas...she found one at a yard sale for 10 dollars. ours only speaks english, but for us, that was okay. there are truly a lot of songs that play, and my son loves to stand and dance to the music. songs include: london bridges, row row row your boat, greensleeves, this old man, pop goes the wheezle and mny more. i love this toy and so does my son!!!

Junky, lightweight plastic - only for very small babies
We received this as a gift and promptly returned it. He had already encountered this toy at a friend's house and grew bored with it in a few minutes. I don't understand why it is so popular. It is made of junky plastic with garish colors. The sound quality is very poor. The book the occupies the center of the table is useless-- why one page? It is very lightweight and low to the ground so it is not strong enough to support my child's weight to help him learn to pull himself up and it is too low for him to practice standing. He could topple it over when he was 8 months.

Love this table
I bought this activity table for my son when he was 4 months old. Initially he wasn't too interested, but at 5 months he started to like it more. Now at 7 months he absolutely loves it. We play with it every day and he loves to stand at it and move all the parts, see the lights and hear the music. He laughs and bounces up and down when he uses it. Great toy.

The Razor A is built of aircraft-grade aluminum, a sturdy material that holds up to use and abuse through the years. Its T-tube and deck, meanwhile, fold up into a compact footprint, so riders can fit the scooter inside a bag or carry it at their side when riding isn't appropriate (it weighs around 6 pounds). And thanks to the 98mm inline-style urethane wheels, ABEC 5 bearings, and patented rear fender brake, riders will always feel smooth and in control when kicking along the sidewalk.
Recommended for ages 5 and older, the Razor A will support a rider up to 143 pounds. It's also backed by a six-month warranty. For the next step up, try the Razor A2 Scooter.

So Far so Good
My son just turned 7 and is somewhat afraid of balancing on his own this is a perfect scooter for him! Wish we would've got this one last year instead of the Razor electric ages 6 and up. Which has been sitting in my basement!

Durable scooter
The Razor Scooter is our second. We had passed our first along to other kids after my son thought he had outgrown it. This one as with our original seems to be well made and durable. My son is a big kid and the scooter seems to be holding up great.

Very good
Seems to be making a rattling noise that our other razor doesn't but I am hoping something can be adjusted to fix the problem. Has already had PLENTY of use! Good quality product.

Big hit at my house!!
This was a gift for my 5yo son and he loved it, its lightweight so he can handle it on his own and he has enjoyed it immensley, much cheaper too than some of the pricier ones at retail stores!

Fun Exercise
I bought the scooter for my seven year old daughter. She refuses to ride a bike, but will use her razor for hours! We were trying to "trick" her into finding exercise that she enjoys! Well it worked. I paid for the scooter online, and then found them on sale in stores for - a little disappointing. But at least we got a pink one!!

Entertaining Toy
My one year old son has played with this toy since he was 6 months old and it still entertains him. While the instruments do sound a bit synthetic, the toy still provides an introduction to different instruments and how multiple instruments can create a complex music piece.

Great product but gets old
My friend's 1 year old loved it for like 1 month then she got tired of it.

Those Who Praise This Toy, Must Have Absolutely No Understanding of Music
I am extremely disappointed in this toy. I spent a few months trying to find it, and was so excited when my mother finally found it on eBay. I quickly paid slightly more than the going price for the cube, but I didn't care, since the outstanding reviews it received made it seem well worth it.
Unfortunately, the toy proved me wrong within 10 minutes of arriving at my house. I started by playing each instrument separately, going for the violin first. I quickly realized that the track was actually a horrible synthesized violin - EW. To add insult to injury, the track was flat in some places, sharp in others. My husband thought it would sound better with all of the instruments playing, and maybe it wouldn't sound flat relative to the other instruments, but no - we then discovered that the tempos are all completely off. The flute is too slow, the harp is too fast, and the piano track is about the only track that actually sounds somewhat correct, in terms of the intstrument it's supposed to be and the song it's supposed to be playing. To the reviewer who said the cube made him shudder everytime it turned on, I completely sympathize. It makes your skin crawl!
Right now, my husband is pulling the cube apart to see if maybe he can tweak it to make it play a little better, but I'm convinced this was a complete waste. It's a sin, because my son absolutely loves the flashing lights and the music, and hitting the different buttons to bring the different pieces of an ensemble together, but I refuse to let him play with a toy that encourages rushed tempos and flat notes. Save your money, and pick up one of Mozart's CDs. Better yet, pick up the Baby Einstein Mozart CD; the Baby Einstein Orchestra uses simple sounds to recreate Mozart's most popular movements that make it easier and more enjoyable on baby's ears. And, they're actually in tune!
To the lot of people who rated this toy with 5 stars, perhaps you need to head back to elementary music class. Don't waste your money, unless you want to teach your child about rushing tempos and flat notes with disgusting, synthetic sounds.

great toy with musical influence...
my son, who is now almost 18 mos. old, loves his mozart cube. he has played with this toy since christmas when we got it for him. most days he'll play in the living room and he'll play his mozart cube then go on to explore other toys...when the music stops he comes back to his cube to play it again! we're hoping that musical influences like this cube will encourage him to want to learn music.
this cube is well constructed and lights up when the instrument blocks are playing. we liked the mozart cube enough to buy one for my sister and our best friend who are both pregnant!

Awesome
My son just turned 1 and has had this since he was about 7 mos old. It was love at first sight and he still loves it! I only wish there was a volume switch, though.....

Great fun toy!
My 8 year old son and 10 year old daughter are hooked on these toys! We got some on vacation and they played with them constantly! My daughter has not been on Webkinz in a week! Neat collectable toys and they enjoy making up their own games and races with them. Too hard for them to play the gamecard/games designed for the toy though. Toy durable in spite of being thrown on hard surfaces from time to time. Very hard to find in stores in Chicago area though!

Son loved it
I bought this for my son because he wouldn't stop talking about it. I first checked every Walmart and Toys 'R Us in toy and couldn't find a starter or battle pack. They are cute little toys and the game is decently fun for an adult, but the kids are crazy over it. They won't stop playing. My son (almost 6) hasn't touched a video game, watched tv, or played with any other toys since he got it. He just spends all his free time with his Bakugan (haven't decided if this is good or bad).

my kids love these.
Kind of expensive but really good positive reinforcement tools. they will do just about anything for these things.

What a neat toy for boys!
What a neat toy! My son loved it. The game is based on the tv show and the kids love to play and trade toys & cards.
THe only problem is that you can not buy a specific item for collection purposes and must accept what is packaged.
This item is sold out in every store we looked at. Amazon had the best on line price.

Son loves it
Son loves the bagukan and the sets are far more interesting. The toy is too small and fragile for a small child, but very acceptable for the 10+ yrs old.

A Great Alternative to Professional Easels
Just like a professional easel, this work station is generously sized so that children can complete projects both big and small. Its durable wood construction ensures that it won't tip and it folds up easily for convenient storage. The easel also has a sturdy paint tray with cup holders for easy use and clean-up, and another tool tray that holds erasers, chalks, and clips. Four large, colorful clips are included with this easel. Paper rolls can be loaded effortlessly into the holder and a paper cutting edge at the top delivers clean cuts and leaves your artist's work whole. Parents may have to assist removing and loading the paper, as it can be difficult for kids to do on their own. (The paper rolls and paint cups are not included.) A standing easel is essential for any young artist. This large easel has a chalkboard, dry erase board, and paper roller to let the children express themselves with different mediums. It also has an adjustable height that grows with the creator and delivers years of use. The brightly colored tool containers are capacious enough to hold lots of different items and are simple for tiny fingers to utilize. This toy will unleash the little artist inside every child and could spark a lifelong interest in fine art.

Awesome Easel
A must buy for the 3 year olds
First, let me say that we got this for Christmas for our 2.5 year old boy. Our boy is very active and can be aggressive at times. This easel is made very sturdy and looks attractive as well.
I would strongly recommend this to anyone looking for an easel. Friends of ours have the crayola easel and have found it to be weaker than ours. A plus is that this easel is adjustable, meaning as your kids grow so does the easel's height. And I like that the paper is hidden in the middle of the A frame, it keeps it out of the way.
The chalk board is not a problem. I simply followed the directions that come in the box and "seasoned" our board. By coloring/rubbing chalk all over it and wipping it off.
I can't believe someone went the length of using a power sander on this easel... Really? I guess I'm skeptical and not sure why? Yes, that would certainly ruin this chalk board.

Melissa and Doug Deluxe Standing Easel
Melissa and Doug Deluxe Standing Easel is great 1 Help save my kid from drawing on the walls in the apartment! Use as a creative tool to developed ideas and putting it on paper ! Easy setup and with the roll of paper on the go.

Great Bargain!
Great bargain. I was concerned with the chalk board because some reviews mentioned it needed to be sanded. I did not find that problem at all. My 4 year old son loves the dry erase board and practicing writing his name over and over. Soon enough, my 9 month old girl will be practicing her name as well. Great investment, gift and product overall.

Great & Entertaining!
My three yr old and 15 mth old LOVE this! I would recommend this to anyone! I haven't had the chalkboard problems like everyone else. Chalk goes on smooth!

Good quality easel!
I like this easel a lot and would recommend it to encourage creativity in your tot. There's no metal hinges that can pinch or rust, and it's adjustable as they grow. It took about an hour to put together, but pretty easy overall. My 2 year old loves it. The chalk board works fine with real white teacher's chalk, but not so well with sidewalk chalk.

Bananas for Bananagrams
It's a great "solitary" game that is played with several other people. Kind of like scrabble, it tests your brain to see words in a pile of letters and then create your own "crossword" board....before anyone else does. It's quick and easy...we like that.

Rave review for fast paced Bananagrams
bananagrams is kind of a cross between scrabble and a cross word puzzle - each player makes his own board of words simultaneously - so no waiting between turns as in scrabble which eliminates tedium. Its also a quick game - we can play about 20 times in a row with no problem - good for groups - perfect for the weekend cabin activity.

A toy for all age groups
I have ordered three of these now, for people ages 4, 49 and 84. You can play this by yourself or with up to 4-6 people. Generally, I play with one other person and the 144 tiles provide three games. Enormously entertaining. Goes faster than Scrabble and just as intellectually challenging. I highly recommend it. Unlike Scrabble, there are no points (even on the tiles), the game winner is decided by who uses all their tiles first in a crossword pattern.
The variation I play is to pass out 34 tiles to each of two players. If stumped you can trade in a tile for three more. Once that game is complete, each player draws 34 more from the original group. The more tiles you play in a round, the more interesting it is as you can include some pretty big words (one you would never see in Scrabble). My Mom, who has been a Scrabble and crossword enthusiast for decades, loves this game. My niece like to spell out easy words, but will soon work her way up.
My Mom and I sorted out all the tiles to see how they compared to Scrabble. Q's, Z's, X's in limited numbers vs. many, many a,e,i,o,u vowels.
It comes in a portable yellow banana themed bag, so you can take it on vacation or to parties.

Banana Fun
My grandchildren had this game and since I love Scrabble, I took to it immediately. I like it because it moves quickly and you do not have to keep score. In fact, I ordered it for myself and play solo.

Fantastic!
Banagrams is so much fun. The games are quick, two or more can play, and it is also educational. It's a little like Scrabble, only faster and much more portable. I highly recommend it!
